Policies

Deposits:

Weddings are charged in full upon receipt of a signed rental agreement and are non-refundable.

Proms are charged in full at time of booking. Booking is not confirmed until a signed rental agreement is received and payment is non-refundable.

All other hourly chartered vehicles are charged a non-refundable 2 hour deposit at time of booking.

A credit card number will be on file for all charter reservations. Any damage caused to a vehicle requiring repair or excessive cleaning will be charged to the client. Details are outlined in the rental agreement.

 

Cancellations:

Airport transportation and local transfers must be cancelled a minimum of 4 hours prior to scheduled pickup in local tri-valley area to avoid charges.  Pickups outside of tri-valley area require a 24 hour notice to avoid charges. Some exceptions may apply.

 

Fees:

Rates quoted may not include all fees. Fees charged for each ride include a 8% fuel surcharge (effective 01/01/2011), 9.7% transportation fee and driver gratuity.  Additional fees for early/late pickup, international arrivals and extra stops may apply.

Alcohol:

All alcohol will be removed from vehicles occupied by passengers under 21 years of age. 
Any use of alcohol by minors or use of illegal drugs will result in immediate termination of the ride and passengers and will be charged in full.

 

Travel Time:

Travel time will apply to rides outside of the tri-valley area. Travel time varies depending on pickup/drop off location.

 

Wait Time:

Wait time applies only to a flat rate service following a complimentary 15 minutes from the scheduled reservation time. Billing begins 16 minutes after scheduled pick up time and is billed in 15 minute increments of the vehicle hourly rate. If wait time exceeds 1 hour the ride will be modified to hourly service with a minimum of 4 hours.

 

A No Show Reservation:

A no show will be billed in full if no notification of travel changes or cancellation was received prior to scheduled reservation time of 2 hours or more.

 

Late cancellation for city and airport transfer services:

All services will be charged in full if notified less than 4 hours of the scheduled reservation time within our local service area. Outside our local service area will require additional notification time and at the discretion of Black Tie Management.
